Mt.Baker Retreat
A two night retreat to rest, reflect, and seek God in community. For the second time, we are staying in a Chalet in the Mount Baker Wilderness with breathtaking views and instant accessibility to hiking and snowshoe trails.
We will have time yet aside for solitude and guided spiritual reflection, group activities to strengthen relationships, worship times, and lots of down time to hang out.
Our meals will be provided buffet style by an onsite chef, and they are able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Accommodations are cabin style with bunk beds and separate floors for men and women. Amenities include a games room with ping pong and pool tables, mini-kitchen for storing and preparing your own snacks, fireplaces and more - but the thing that makes this place extra special is it’s location.
We will be nestled high in the Mount Baker Wilderness with views of Mount Shuksan right from the balcony. Depending on the weather, we’ll get to hike or snowshoe trails in the high alpine, and maybe even get a little bit of tubing in down the hill. The cabin is about a 90 minute drive from the church, and the whole road is well paved.
The cost for the weekend is $200, which includes your meals, accommodations and all activities. In order to save a spot, fill out this form and complete payment by October 20th. If money is the only thing that would hold you back from participating, let us know in the form below, and we can arrange for a partial or full sponsorship.
We’re trusting God to use this weekend to speak to us, refresh us, grow us and lead us. We hope you can join us!

Vision & Volleyball
Like an info night but with sports. As we start a new season, we want to take some time to explain the vision for Broadway Young Adults over the next year. This will include some practical details like our schedule, some updates and additions to our routines, some insight into our hopes for spiritual growth as a group, opportunities to ask questions & share ideas, and we’ll take time to pray and ask God together to be the centre of all we do this year.
And then, we’ll open up the gym to play some volleyball!
Vision & Volleyball will be at Broadway Church, and you can enter through the office doors off of Maple Avenue.

Camp Broadway

Registration: To save yourself a spot, register using the form below by June 1st. We’ll be staying in cabins in groups of about 10. If you'd like to share a room with someone in particular, let us know. To pay, you can e-transfer to office@broadwaychurchlife.com or you can pay in person by bringing cash, debit or cheque into the Broadway Church Office. If money is the only obstacle that would stop you from coming, please let us know and we can discreetly make arrangements to make sure you can join us.
What to bring: You’ll need to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. Meals, snacks and beverages will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks as well if you like. We ask that you refrain from bringing alcohol or drugs on this retreat. We'll have some board games and card games with us, but you are of course welcome to bring your own as well. Athletic clothes and a swim suit will be helpful if you want to hike or get in the lake. A Bible, notebook and a pen will be very useful this weekend too.
Carpooling: We'd love to cut down on how many vehicles are coming up - we can save some gas money and minimize our environmental impact while we're at it. Let us know on the registration form if you’re interested in participating.
We are expecting really good, life giving things for this weekend and we're already praying for what God will be doing in each of our lives as we set time aside to seek Him in community.
